Do you have a Site Map?

Can we visit for the day?

Hosanna is open to day visitors between 9am – 5pm.

Day visits are $7pp for children 5 years of age and over. There is no need to book. 

Can you bring pets?

We are pet friendly as long as your pet is friendly!

Cleaning fees may be applied for pets found to have caused mess or damage to grounds or buildings.

What is your cancellation policy?

Hosanna has a no refund cancellation policy.

If you are unable to stay due to an unforeseen circumstance we can usually credit your guest account here at Hosanna for a future booking. This is valid for 12 months.


An email will be sent to you at the time of your booking offering cancellation insurance for a small fee. Due to the ever changing COVID19 situation,  we recommend you read their terms and conditions prior to accepting their offer to ensure that you are entitled to a full monetary refund if you cancel your booking.

What are your prices?

Is Hosanna suitable for caravans?

Yes! We are not a traditional caravan park, however our sites a large, flat, grassy with power and water connections on our powered sites.

What time is check-in and check-out?

For cabin and hut guests arrival is anytime from 2pm and departure time is 10am.

Camping; both powered and un-powered, can arrive anytime from 12pm and departure is 10am.

If you are arriving before your arrival time you may incur an early arrival fee;$5 p/p, and your site/cabin/hut may not be available until the allotted arrival time.

How big are your sites?

We offer large 10m x 10m sites that are usually surrounded by ample green space to make it easier for you to enjoy the "wide open spaces".

Can you have campfires?

Yes, you can! As long as there are no current fire bans or restrictions. You can check here.

We have communal fire-rings spread throughout our farm. You are more than welcome to bring your own firepit for your individual campsite, we also have individual firepits available for hire.  Firepit hire can be added to your booking when you book online, or through your online guest account. You can also hire firepits during your stay through our reception staff.

We have several options for your campfire experiences here at Hosanna:

  • Basic firepit hire - $5 per booking
  • Firepit + grill plate for campfire cooking - $10 per booking
  • Firepit, grill plate + rotisserie for slow cooked campfire cooking - $25 per booking
  • Ultimate campfire cooking experience with all of the above plus firewood & high quality farmed pork or chicken for slow cooking - $100 per booking

We ask that all campfires are kept in fire-rings and firepits to keep our grounds in great condition. Please, no fires on the ground!

You are welcome to BYO firewood, to forage in our forest for dead wood that is on that ground, or purchase firewood from our store.

Do you have food options on offer?

We do have a coffee cart that sells fresh coffee and hot drinks, and a selection of baked goods. On weekends and school holidays we sell a small menu of house made breakfast and lunch specials.

Do you have a dump point?

We don’t currently have facilities for dumping chemical toilets, the closest dump points can be found at www.dumppoints.com.

Is linen provided?

If you are staying in a Cabin or Hut, then your linen is provided, with towels for showering.

Can I fish at Hosanna?

Absolutely! Our policy is catch and release, and there are areas in the dam and the creek that you can fish without impacting guests that are swimming.

Do you only accept cash or can I use my card for payment also?

We accept cash or card for all purchases.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

What does your shop sell?

Our Hosanna General Store stocks all the essentials for camping:

Ice, Firewood, Milk & Bread as well as ice-creams, soft drinks and basic hygiene supplies.

We are also proud to offer locally made products that support some of the fantastic small businesses in our area.

What will the weather be?

We suggest you check with your preferred weather service for forecasts and updates.

We're good at being farmers and hosts, but no so good at weather forecasting!

What if I arrive after hours?

If you are arriving late, we will contact you via sms with instructions on how to find your map and directions to your accommodation / site.

We do ask those who arrive after hours to check-in with reception in the morning.

When I make a booking, what do I have to pay?

We require full payment at the time you make your booking.

Can we bring our kid's bikes?

You are more than welcome to bring your kids bikes, however, we do advise that road and general safety be considered at all times.

Are the huts fully enclosed?

Yes, our huts close up completely, leaving you cosy and private while you sleep. They do not have flyscreens.

Do the cabins and huts have heaters?

During the cooler months, our cabins do have oil heaters installed, and we have heaters available to borrow if you are staying in our huts.

What time do you feed the animals?

Our animal feeding activity happens at 9am and 4pm daily.

What is the easiest way to book?

The easiest way to make a booking with us is to book online, using this website!

Is there mobile phone reception or Wi-Fi?

We have patchy network coverage given that we are nestled in a valley. Telstra is best, but still not great in some areas. We have wi-fi located around our main buildings.

Our suggestion is - make the most of the lack of reception and take the opportunity to disconnect from your technology!

Do you allocate campsites?

Yes, we do! We like to be organised.

Please refer to our site map if you would like to choose a preferred site. We can't always guarantee you will get your preferred site, but we always do our best to get you as close as possible.

If you are camping as a group, we suggest leaving a comment in your online booking with a group/family name that we can identify easily so that we can allocate your sites together. 

The earlier we know this information, the more likely we are to be able to accommodate your requests.
