Do you have a Site Map?


 

Can we visit for the day?

Hosanna is open to day visitors between 9am – 5pm.

Day visits are $7pp for everyone 2 years of age and over when booked online.

Walk-in Day Visit Passes are $10pp and can be purchased from Reception on arrival.

Evening passes are also available for $5pp or $10per family.

Bookings in advance help us plan for additional staff if required. You can book day passes here.

Can you bring pets?

We are pet friendly as long as your pet is friendly!

Cleaning fees may be applied for pets found to have caused mess or damage to grounds or buildings.

Is Hosanna suitable for caravans?

Yes! We are not a traditional caravan park, however our sites a large, flat, (mostly) grassy with power and water connections on our powered sites.

What time is check-in and check-out?

For cabin and hut guests arrival is anytime from 2pm and departure time is 10am.

Camping guests (both powered and un-powered) can arrive anytime from 12pm and departure is 10am.

If you are arriving before your arrival time you may incur an early arrival fee;$5 p/p, and your site/cabin/hut may not be available until the allotted arrival time.

How big are your sites?

Our sites are all approximately 8m x 8m sites and are usually surrounded by ample green space to make it easier for you to enjoy the "wide open spaces".

Can you have campfires?

Yes, you can! As long as there are no current fire bans or restrictions. You can check here.

We have firepits located at every campsite and hut, as well as communal firepits in central locations both in the campgrounds, around the cabins and on our lawn area.

We ask that all campfires are kept in the firepits provided to keep our grounds in great condition. 

You are welcome to BYO firewood, to forage in our forest for dead wood that is on that ground, or purchase firewood from our store. No chainsaws, please.

Do you have food options on offer?

We absolutely do! As well as fresh coffee pouring every day, you can check out our food offerings here.

 

Do you have a dump point?

We don’t currently have facilities for dumping chemical toilets, the closest dump points can be found at www.dumppoints.com.

Is linen provided?

If you are staying in a Cabin, Hut or the Homestead, then your linen is provided, with towels for showering.

Can I fish at Hosanna?

We no longer allow fishing at Hosanna.

Do you only accept cash or can I use my card for payment also?

We accept cash or card for all purchases. Card payments incur a 1.6% surcharge.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

What does your shop sell?

Our Hosanna General Store stocks all the essentials for camping:

Ice, firewood, ice-creams, soft drinks and basic grocery & hygiene supplies.

We are also proud to offer locally made products that showcase & support many of the fantastic small businesses in our area.

What will the weather be?

We suggest you check with your preferred weather service for forecasts and updates.

We're good at being farmers and hosts, but no so good at weather forecasting!

What if I arrive after hours?

If you are arriving late, we will contact you via sms with instructions on how to find your map and directions to your accommodation / site. These contacts are automatically sent from our booking system by 4pm every day.

We do ask those who arrive after hours to check-in with reception in the morning.

When I make a booking, what do I have to pay?

We require full payment at the time you make your booking.

Can we bring our kid's bikes?

You are more than welcome to bring your kids bikes, however, we do advise that road and general safety be considered at all times.

Are the huts fully enclosed?

Yes, our huts close up completely, leaving you cosy and private while you sleep. They do not have flyscreens.

Do the cabins and huts have heaters or fans?

During the cooler months, our cabins do have oil heaters installed, and we have small ceramic fan heaters available if you are staying in our huts.

During the warmer months, our cabins have ceiling fans installed, while each hut has small fans installed.

What time do you feed the animals?

You can feed the animals any time of the day! Check out our activities page for any scheduled animal experiences.

What is the easiest way to book?

The easiest way to make a booking with us is to book online, using this website!

Is there mobile phone reception or Wi-Fi?

We have patchy network coverage given that we are nestled in a valley. Telstra is best, but still not great in some areas. We have wi-fi located around our main buildings.

Our suggestion is - make the most of the lack of reception and take the opportunity to disconnect from your technology!

Do you allocate campsites?

Yes, we do! We like to be organised.

Please refer to our site map if you would like to choose a specific site. You can select your site as part of your online booking process for an additional fee.

Do you allow generators?

Unfortunately, no we do not allow generators onsite unless it is our own during a power failure.

Can I use the guest kitchen?

Our guest kitchen is a facility that is available for guests staying in our huts and cabins as there are no kitchen facilities in our accommodation (other than the Homestead). Campers will be required to be self-sufficient with their cooking and food storage.
